As a global technology company specializing in gadget accessories such as power banks, chargers, audio devices, Bluetooth speakers, and IoT-based household appliances, Anker has successfully earned the trust of the American and European markets. Anker entered the Indonesian market in 2016, marking its expansion into Southeast Asia.
My role involved assisting Anker in planning Public Relations activities to establish its brand presence in Indonesia. Given that Anker was a relatively new brand in the country and shared its name with a well-known alcoholic beverage brand, the challenge required a strategic approach. I also contributed to designing programs aimed at educating the public and positioning Anker as a premium, safe, and reliable choice for high-quality gadget accessories.
This carefully executed strategy has proven effective. Over nearly nine years, Anker has successfully captured significant market share in Indonesia, particularly in online retail platforms such as Tokopedia and Shopee, where it now dominates with a 40% share of sales.
